Signature Certification
In many cases, your signature alone is not sufficient; a notary must confirm the authenticity of your signature. To do this, you must sign the document in the presence of a notary, who, as a public official, attests to the authenticity of your signature.
In some cases involving foreign elements, the notary must also obtain an apostille or legalisation from the Regional Court of Wiesbaden, which takes additional time.
